Family Cookout - Dorothy D. Waddy Pavilion at Clanton Park, Charlotte

Shelby City Park

This year's traditional Saturday picnic moves to a different location than the past couple of years, to the Dorothy D. Waddy Pavilion at Clanton Park in Charlotte. Again, good food and family fun will be the big drawing cards for this event.

The 4,500 sq. ft. facility, owned by Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation is located in central Charlotte. It is located at 3132 Manchester Drive Off of Clanton Rd. Stop by the Family Reunion registration desk in the hotel lobby for directions.

This year's Saturday activities will again include a Family Jeopardy! game which members can play to test their knowledge of family facts past and present. Answers to some of the family related questions used in the game can be found in the 100th Reunion Souvenir Journal (which you can view page-by-page beginning on the Souvenir Journal page), and from other pages on this web site. Other questions have been thrown in to make the game a bit more fun and interesting.
